Thank you premiership-winning coach Jordan Gurry for your hard work!

Thank you premiership-winning coach Jordan Gurry (far left) for your hard work!

After a successful, premiership winning, 2016 season; Mozzies Head Coach Jordan Gurry is stepping down. Club President Ben Sweetman had this to say;

“We are immensely thankful of his [Gurry’s] efforts as coach. He is the main reason, along with our playing group, we got our hands on the ever elusive three-peat. But as we say a fond farewell to him [Gurry] and wish him all the best.”

The Manchester Mosquitoes are on the hunt for a new head coach for their 2017 campaign, and possibly beyond. As a successful club, they are looking to gain a coach who has a wealth of experience in Australian Football and/or coaching in sport who can learn the sport quickly. With the Movember Cup coming up, the Club would love to have possible coaches introduce them over the next few weeks during the build-up to the tournament so they get chance to meet the playing and support group as soon as possible. (This is not a must, so do not worry if you cannot make it!) Jordan Gurry will remain around the club to help our new coach with sessions and getting to know the club and players when he is available.

If you are interested in applying for the coaching role at Manchester ARFC please contact our Club President (president@manchesteraussierules,com) as soon as possible with any application and any questions you may have.
